The Service Training Excellence Program assesses a dealer training organization’s ability to effectively deliver high-value training in a consistent and Caterpillar global standard manner. EAME Service Training awards the accreditations after a diligent process of assessments, process and infrastructure improvements, and on-site audits by the Learning Consultant. As part of the program, also the dealer Instructors need to achieve individual accreditation of their teaching skills, through the Caterpillar Instructor Accreditation Program (CIAP).
With determined project management from the dealer, the complete process usually takes a bit more than one year to complete, from start up to accreditation. A detailed, final audit of the dealer training organization validates that the Dealer Service Training Operations meet the highest standards for Learning Materials, Staff, Operations and Administration.
EAME dealer service training organizations that achieve the prestigious accreditation will find its name added on the recognition plaque in the auditorium of the Malaga Learning and Demonstration Center:

Many more dealers in the EAME region are working to achieve the Service Training Excellence accreditation. Dealer Training Managers appreciate the transparent benchmarking with other dealer Best Practices. One of the other key reasons is that International customers and Industry Segments are looking for reassurance that skilled Technicians are servicing Caterpillar equipment according to the high standards, all over the world. By 2015, EAME Service Training expects that 15 dealer training organizations will meet the accreditation standards.
