Altaaqa Global has bid and won in Oman the Rental tender for Block 9 Oil field comprising 4 sites, Wadi Latham, Jalal, Khamila, and Safah, for 30 months.
The company has begun the installation of the first sites, namely Wadi Latham and Jalal. The end user, a prominent Oil & Gas major is experiencing rapid expansion and is advancing their drilling program to open new wells. The installation and commissioning of the Safah and Wadi Latham power plants are due for completion during August for the first phases of the development. The entire project will total 33 units of the XQG1900 gas genset model. This is a major win, further demonstrating Altaaqa Global’s leadership in temporary power for the Oil & Gas industry.
