Jeddah, KSA, 17 December 2020: Zahid Tractor Commercial Vehicles Division, the exclusive dealer of Renault Trucks in Saudi Arabia, signed a contract to supply 100 Renault trucks to Riyadh based Al Bassami International Business Group (Al Bassami).
The Chairman of Al Bassami’s Board of Directors, Mr. Mohammed Al Bassami explained that the purchase of the 100 Renault Trucks was part of the Group’s expansion plans and efforts to enhance quality of service offering. Mr. Al Bassami pointed out that part of the fleet would be used to replace old trucks and that this investment was aligned with the Kingdom’s Transportation Authority’s vision and policies. Mr. Al Bassami added that Renault Trucks had been selected following a rigorous selection process conducted by the Group’s specialized technical team who noted the remarkable enhancements on Renault Trucks’ features that facilitated the driving process, enhanced efficiencies and reduced reducing fuel and maintenance costs.
Al Bassami International Business Group owns more than 1,500 trucks and operates 60 branches across the Kingdom, the GCC, Egypt, Jordan and Sudan offering transportation of cars and light and heavy goods.
